Gridline Privacy Policy
Gridline is a logic puzzle game for Android (package ro.icm.logicpuzzles), published by
ICM Developer, Romania, Craiova, ("we"). This policy explains what happens to data when
you use the app. In short: we do not collect or receive any personal data. Your games
stay on your device. The app shows ads from Google, and Google processes some data to show them, as
described below.
1. What the app keeps on your device
To let you resume puzzles and see your progress, the app stores on your device:
- saved puzzles in progress, solved-puzzle times, and daily-puzzle streaks;
- your settings (theme, sound, vibration, mistake marking) and hint credits;
- counters that keep ads within their limits (how many puzzles you have completed, when the last full-screen ad was shown) and whether you have bought ad removal.
None of this is sent to us. We have no server and no account system. If Android's backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include these files in your device backup, which Google stores under your account. The app excludes the advertising and consent services' own files from backups. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes this data.
2. Playing needs no internet connection
All puzzles are generated on your device. The app uses the internet only for ads, for the consent form, and for purchases through Google Play.
3. Advertising, consent and purchases (Google)
The app includes the following Google services. Google, not us, collects and processes the data they need, under Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Your choices
- Personalised ads. Where consent is required, you choose on first launch, and you can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings > Privacy choices. If you decline, you may still see ads that are not personalised.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads, or Google > Ads on older versions).
- No ads. A one-time purchase in Settings removes the banner and the full-screen ads. Videos for hints stay available if you want them.
- Deleting data. Uninstall the app, or clear its storage. Data held by Google can be managed at myaccount.google.com.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
We process no personal data ourselves. For the Google services above: personalised advertising, and storing or reading information on your device for it, rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Showing non-personalised ads, measuring them and preventing fraud rely on the legitimate interest of keeping the app free to use. Purchases are processed to perform the contract you enter into with Google Play. You have the rights to access, correct, delete and object to processing, and to complain to your data protection authority.
6. Children
Gridline is intended for a general audience of adults and teenagers, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
